How It Works
For Buyers
Step 1 — Browse the catalogue
Use the search bar and filters (category, country, price range) to find what you need. The catalogue is fully public — no account required.
Step 2 — Review the listing
Each listing includes a description, dimensions, condition notes, location and photo gallery. Take your time to assess whether the item fits your requirements.
Step 3 — Send an enquiry
Click "Send enquiry" on any listing, fill in your name, email and message. Be specific: mention your intended use, preferred collection date, and any questions about the condition or logistics. Your message goes directly to the seller.
Step 4 — Negotiate directly
The seller will reply to your email. From that point all negotiation — price, payment, dismantling, transport — happens directly between you and the seller. Hoppie Hoppie is not involved in the transaction.
Step 5 — Inspect before you buy
We strongly recommend an on-site inspection (or a professional survey) before committing to a purchase, especially for large structures. Never pay for something you have not seen or had independently assessed.
For Sellers
Step 1 — Request an invitation
Seller accounts are invitation-only. Email sellers@hoppiehoppie.com with a description of the materials you typically sell. If approved, you will receive an email with an activation link.
Step 2 — Activate your account
Click the link in the invitation email, set your password and complete your profile. Your profile is visible to buyers who click through from your listings.
Step 3 — Create your listings
Log in to your seller dashboard and click "New listing". Add a title, description, dimensions, price and high-quality photos. Our AI assistant can help you draft a compelling description from your photos — just upload the images and let it suggest text.
Step 4 — Manage enquiries
Enquiries from buyers are sent directly to your email address. Respond promptly — buyers often contact multiple sellers simultaneously and quick responses win deals.
Step 5 — Mark as sold
Once an item is sold or no longer available, update its status in your dashboard so buyers know it is gone. Keeping your catalogue up-to-date builds trust and saves everyone time.
