Buyers browse the catalogue, use the contact form to reach sellers directly, and then negotiate the details (price, inspection, delivery) offline. We act as the discovery platform; the transaction happens between buyer and seller.

No. Anyone can browse the full catalogue, view listing details and use the contact form without creating an account. Only sellers need to register, and seller accounts are invitation-only.

Each listing has a "Send enquiry" button. Click it, fill in your name, email and message, and your enquiry will be forwarded to the seller. You can send up to 5 enquiries per hour to prevent spam. The seller will reply directly to your email address.

Seller accounts are currently invitation-only. If you are a professional seller of second-hand building materials and would like to list on our platform, please send an email to sellers@hoppiehoppie.com with a brief description of your stock. Our team will review your request and send an invitation if there is a good fit.

That is entirely up to the individual seller. Many sellers list asking prices that are open to negotiation, especially for large volumes or bulk purchases. We recommend contacting the seller directly to discuss pricing, payment terms and logistics.

Our marketplace specialises in second-hand building and industrial materials, including steel structures (halls, frames, storage units), greenhouses and horticultural structures, agricultural buildings, industrial machinery and equipment, roofing, cladding and insulation materials, scaffolding and temporary structures, and more.

Hoppie Hoppie is a discovery and contact platform; we are not a party to the transaction between buyer and seller. We strongly recommend inspecting items in person (or through a representative) before committing to a purchase, and clarifying all terms — including payment, dismantling and transport — with the seller in writing before any money changes hands. If you encounter fraudulent listings, please report them immediately.

If you believe a listing is fraudulent, inaccurate or otherwise violates our Terms of Service, please email report@hoppiehoppie.com with the URL of the listing and a brief explanation. Our team reviews all reports within 2 business days and will take appropriate action, which may include removing the listing or suspending the seller account.
